This coffee machine is programmable, allowing me to set the temperature of the brew and choose between mild, medium or strong options. I can also use the "gold" setting which conforms to SCA standards and the machine will do the rest.

It is easy to clean the coffee machine. The shower head cover piece comes off easily to clean oil from coffee grinds that rise with steam during brewing, the filter basket comes out easily to trash the used filter and rinse, and the lid on the carafe comes off with a large enough opening to reach in and clean the carafe properly.
I dislike the coffee machine because the water reservoir is not removable for cleaning.
Cleaning the pot is difficult due to the design of the lid and the nooks and crannies, making it hard to clean and dry completely.
