About Bodum BISTRO Blade Grinder
84% praised for its sleek and modern design
I bought this grinder because it has the same design aesthetic as my french press. Filling it almost to capacity gives me the exact measure of coffee I need for one press worth.
I liked the design of the coffee grinder, especially the black model with a red button.
The grinder has a sleek, modern design and doesn't take up much counter space.
I liked the beautiful design of the coffee grinder.

82% appreciated its easy cleaning
The coffee grinder is easy to clean with a paper towel or brush, without using water.
I found that the Mr. Coffee grinder's removable bowl with attached blades made cleaning really easy.
The Cuisinart grinder is the easiest to clean as the bowl is separate from the main housing and is essentially one stainless steel piece.
The rubberized covering around the body of the unit makes it easy to hold and clean the grinder during use.

The coffee grinder is easy to use with an attractive and compact design.
The pulse button is easy to use and can grind anything with just a gentle press.
The coffee grinder is slip-resistant and easy to use with its rubberized outer wrapping, even before I've had my first dose of caffeine in the mornings.
I found the grinder to be strong and efficient, and it was easy to grind to an espresso fine-ness.

86% praised for its powerful and fast grinding, while 14% found it underpowered
This grinder is faster, more efficient and quieter than most w-blade grinders on the market, including earlier Bodum C-Mill metal and plastic models that I have owned.
The product works really well and very fast.
I am impressed with the grinder after using it more. I load it up with 52-53 grams of coffee beans at a time and it produces a nice, even drip grind in 30 seconds.
I like this grinder best for a rather uncommon reason. I use very fine espresso-grind which requires a longer grind time and I get tired of waiting while holding down the activation switch with my hand. I want to be preparing other aspects of the coffee at the same time the beans are grinding. The design of the on/off switch on this Bodum grinder, which is a push DOWN, lets me hold the switch down with a weight, to let the grinder do its thing while I step away for a moment. I know well enough not to let it run so long that the motor over heats, so I don't need the nanny-state protection of a purely momentary switch. This is a small thing, but it satisfies me.
