The cleanup process is super easy. I just fill it up with hot water, put a little dish soap in it, put the top on loosely, and push the button. The spinning action basically cleans itself in 1 cycle.
I use a baby bottle brush to clean the blender easily without submersing it or getting the base wet.

The shaker is very easy to use - just press the button and let the mixer do its thing.
Using the Ninja blender every day was a hassle because of having to clean the big thing for just one smoothie/shake. However, this portable blender has solved those issues. I have been using it for a couple of days and it works great so far. It is also easy to clean and fits perfectly into the car's cup holder.
