I have experienced issues with the durability of the clock-movements, specifically the battery life. The battery life is very short and even after putting a new battery, it would quit working after a couple of days. I bought this one because the old one had the same problem and I thought it was a faulty mechanism. However, after using this one, I realized that it is the motor itself or just the way they are manufactured. It will run for, at the most two to four days, before a new battery has to be put into it.
