About High Torque Quartz Clock Movement Clock Replacement Mechanism
Overall Feedback:
83% positive
82% praised for its precise timekeeping, but 18% experienced slight deviations
After installing the movement, my clock has been keeping perfect time for about a month now.
The clock movement has been on my wall for a few weeks now and has not needed any adjustments.
If the clock hands are dropped, it will take forever to get them straight again as they are made of thin metal.
86% found it easy to adjust, while 14% had difficulties
I found the installation of the clock movement easy and used the old hands that fit perfectly and matched my clock's color scheme.
If the shaft is too long for the clock and sticks out too far, I suggest adding a washer or two on the back side to adjust it.
I faced issues while hanging a 32in clock on the wall. The minute hand got bent and stuck over the hour hand and I kept trying to fix them, which messed up even more including the quartz system.
I ordered a wall clock from Amazon which was a great value, but the hands were too small to tell the time after making the face of the clock larger.
85% appreciated its sleek design, but 15% found it outdated
I did not use the hands that came with the movement and instead used the old ones as they fit perfectly and matched my gold/black clock.
I understand that hands over 9 inches require a high torque motor after reading up, which shows my knowledge about the design and aesthetics of clock-movements.
Installing the movement and hands was easy and they should last for years.
The hands of the clock are made of thin metal and should not be dropped, as it takes a long time to get them straight again.
83% praised for its durability, but 17% experienced premature wear
So far so good with the clock movement's durability. My previous movement lasted over 15 years, but this one has only worked for a few weeks.
After installing the motor on my 11 inch hand, it works perfectly fine and keeps time perfectly.
If you drop the clock hands made of thin metal, it will take a long time to straighten them again.
I bent the clock arms to stop them from getting hung up on each other, and now it works perfectly.
