About 3D Clock Hands, DIY Large Clock Movement Mechanism
Overall Feedback:
75% positive
76% praised for its precise timekeeping, but 24% experienced slight deviations
If you don't screw the clock hands tight, they function properly.
I have noticed that the screw on the front of the clock movement holds the hands in place but slackens with each rotation, causing the clock to lose time.

The time is always just wrong.
69% found it easy to adjust, while 31% had difficulties
I have complained that the screw on the front holding the hands in place slackens with each rotation, causing the watch to lose time and requiring me to reset it repeatedly.
The hour hand keeps coming off the tiny square of metal that is supposed to control it.
I must handle the clock hands with care as they are delicate and can bend easily.
72% appreciated its sleek design, but 28% found it outdated
I created a wall clock using my hands and found that the hands function best when not screwed tight. I discovered a 'sweet' spot and gave it a 4/5 star rating. Using a compass, I found it to be a happy DIY project.
I wanted to put a command strip on the back cover and stick it on the wall just as I did with my previous one. However, without a cover on the back, I was unable to stick it on my wall the way I wanted to.
74% praised for its durability, but 26% experienced premature wear

I must warn that the clock hands are delicate and can bend easily if not handled with care.
I had to return this item because it did not have a back cover, which I needed to put a command strip on the back and stick it on the wall. I had a similar clock mechanism 4 years ago and it stopped working. I got my money's worth and then some from the previous clock mechanism, but unfortunately, Hobby Lobby no longer sells it so I purchased this particular clock mechanism from Amazon instead. This shows that I had a negative experience with the durability of the clock-movements.
The hour hand keeps coming off the tiny square of metal, indicating that the clock movement is not durable.
76% found it easy to install
I was able to repair my old unit thanks to the detailed instructions provided with the new clock movement.
There are instructions to put it together and it comes with 2 hangers and a ruler to help with number placement.
82% praised for its silent operation, but 18% found it noisy
I bent the clock arms to stop them from getting hung up on each other, and now it works perfectly.
