I am disappointed with the durability of the climbing rope. It is not double braided as described and has a parallel stranded core like the junk youd buy at a big box home store.
80% praised for its reliable knot holding, while 20% experienced issues
Once a knot is tied, the end of the rope will never come through because it is stiff.
The climbing rope's poor knot holding was indicated when the sheath snagged on bark during my first use.
85% liked the high quality material, but 15% found it weak
The core of the rope is made of straight fibers, not spun into threads.
82% liked its lightweight design, but 18% found it too bulky
When coiling it back up, I noticed that the sheath snagged on bark and had bad signs of wear. This indicates poor portability of the rope and it may not be easy to carry around without causing damage.

I tested the rope by pulling a 140ft section with 800lbs of tension using a come-a-long and crane scale. It held perfectly fine even though it was under 1/4 the claimed rated 3500lb breaking strength.
I pushed the rope to its limits and it snapped, indicating that it is not durable enough to handle heavy pressure.
