About La Bella 2001 Medium Tension Flamenco Classical Guitar String
Overall Feedback:
85% positive
88% appreciated the long-lasting strings, though 12% experienced premature wear
After using the strings for 3 weeks, I noticed that my finger was getting caught on the D string at the second and 3rd frets, inhibiting my playing. This indicates poor durability of the strings.
I have noticed that the strings are good but not that durable.
81% found it easy to install, but 19% found it difficult
I have not mentioned anything about the ease of installation of classical guitar strings.
I am disappointed with the product quality of La Bella classical-guitar-strings. They have downgraded their product quality in recent years.
I received a single high E string instead of a set of strings while buying this item from Amazon. I now use La Bella strings exclusively, having ditched my DAddarios long ago.
80% praised for its rich and warm tone, while 20% found it lacking clarity
The sound quality of these strings is trebly, as expected from flamenco strings, but not exceptional or profoundly different/better than other brands.
The sound of the strings is quite trebly, as expected from flamenco strings. However, I haven't found anything exceptional or profoundly different/better than other brands.
84% liked the ease of playability, but 16% found it too stiff
If you buy this particular item from Amazon, you may receive a single string instead of a set.

I used these strings for a while on my 1977 Ramirez 1A guitar, but switched to Augustine lights for a slightly warmer sound and to avoid over-humidifying my guitar.
I have played the strings for about 30 hours and they still look and sound great.
