The blade arrived in good condition, and I like that it was possible to open the plastic with a single pull at the sides, without having to cut the plastic to get the blade out.
I used to use a saw called Diablo but recently got a new one called dewalt and I thought I would try it out for fine cuts on 2x4s and plywood, since I didn't want to mix match my new saw with my old one.
This is a great tool for cutting fir, especially if you use a 20-Volt MAX Li-Ion Circular Saw.
I use this blade for cuts on my living room table and it is very smooth on the edges, just make sure to apply steady force and not go too fast.
I have been using this saw blade for a few projects and it works great, no complaints, clean and smooth cuts, and I only touched a nail with it.
Question & Answers
How is it for ripping pressure treated wood?
If you're looking for a better fit for finishing cuts, we recommend DW9199.
Will this blade work with a corded plunge saw?
You would need to check with the manufacturer of that saw for compatibility, as the blade wouldn't have been tested by DEWALT with that saw.
What is the difference between the old and new model?
I had a hard time finding one that fit the circle in the middle, because this one fits my older dewalt 6-1/2 20v saw.
Which is better for osb sheathing 24t or 40t?
It depends on the OSB you use and the teeth you use. I would use the 40T because I don't like frayed edges.
Is it possible to cut 24 gauge aluminum with this blade?
The metal cutting blade I would get is fine teeth, but it will cut a rough edge and you will where the blade quickly.
