My son found the child-carrier-trailer comfortable and even wanted to ride more after a few rides around the block. He even laid down and felt good. Although we compared it with another trailer that had a padded seat, we still found it comfortable enough for him.
After using the child-carrier-trailer for my 4 year old and 2 year old, I found that both fit in nicely and my 4 year old did not complain of being uncomfortable.
