I ordered the recommended bulbs in soft white and have this fixture on a dimmer. It looks great at very low light or at maximum output.
Assembling the chandelier is not hard, even though the instructions are pretty much nonexistent.
I adjusted the color of the chandelier by spraying it with an antique brass spray paint to dull it down a bit.
