The light is of amazing quality for the price. I compared multiple items and am glad that I ordered this one. It is so bright, the gold doesnt look cheap and the black gives such a crisp modern touch.
I used 25 watt Sylvannia non-led bulbs from Home Depot that come in packs of two. They are warm but not too bright.
