Overall Feedback:
76% positive
76% liked the safety features, though 24% found them inadequate
The chainsaw was advertised as having anti-vibration, but there was none, making it hard on my hands.
74% were satisfied with the vibration levels, but 26% weren't
I was disappointed to find that the chainsaw advertised as having anti-vibration did not actually have it, making it hard on my hands. As someone with arthritis, I was specifically looking for this feature.
83% were satisfied with the chain type and sharpness, but 17% weren't
I can easily cut through hardwoods like white oak, black walnut, and birch with my chainsaw. I keep it well maintained and sharp, and it hasn't lost any power.
The chainsaw runs extremely well, it is very sharp and powerful. It cut through a 17 inch in diameter pine tree very easily and very fast.
The chain provided is not 3/8' pitch, only a .325, and the bar is .058 as stated on the bar but the chain is only a .050, which makes the chain loose in the bar.
If you are a chainsaw guy like me, you already have a guide and different sizes of files and a flat file to sharpen the chain. The file provided isn't the proper size.
86% appreciated the bar length
It took me 5-10 minutes to put the bar and chain on, fill fluids and look over the manual. The manual is a joke.
The chainsaw is a great value for the money with an 18 inch and 22 inch bar and chain.
72% liked the engine power
I keep my chainsaw well maintained and sharp, and it cuts easily through different types of wood like white oak, black walnut, and birch without losing any power.
I find the chainsaw's alarm extremely annoying when it kicks in after coming off the throttle. It is assumed to be a warning that the saw is still powered on, but I find it very annoying.
I am not satisfied with the safety equipment that comes with the chainsaw. I use different safety equipment like good leather gloves, helmet with visor and earmuffs, and most importantly a pair of chaps. The manufacturer should stop adding these and cut the price by the corresponding few bucks. I have faced this problem personally while using the chainsaw. Based on my experience, I suggest that the manufacturer should improve the safety equipment.
