When I used the chainsaw on larger diameter trunks, the blade softened and became a powder maker instead of a wood cutter. It is unclear whether it overheated or hit a rock. The engine, on the other hand, continued to run smoothly.

The chainsaw's engine revs quickly and is not too loud for a 2 cycle chain saw. It cuts beautifully and has plenty of power for home owner wood cutting tasks.
I gave the chainsaw 4 stars for its power. If I try to speed up the cutting process, it will bog down or bind up. However, using proper cutting technique, it works like a champ.
I wish for more power when cutting 14” trees, but it still cuts well.
