About Atlasonix VR Headset Compatible with iPhone and Android Phones
Overall Feedback:
86% positive
73% praised the adjustable design
The goggles are adjustable, comfortable to wear, and well-made with many other factors that make it a good product.
I am impressed with the adjustable design of the lens. It allows me to adjust each lens independently to each eye and has small slide buttons in the middle to get the right focus for my eyes.
69% were satisfied with the battery life, while 31% weren't
I can attach a charger and headphones to the sides of the headset while watching a heavy duty video that uses up a lot of the battery life, which is a positive aspect.
I use the VR headset with a bluetooth remote that requires 2 AAA batteries. I found a low-cost 2 pack of high drain AAA batteries at dollar tree.
I faced a glitch where I had to remove the battery to reset it if I hadn't used it in a few days. However, it's a slider cover, not a screw, so it's not a big deal.
The product claims to be compatible with iPhone, but the remote does not sync. The headset works.
81% found it comfortable to wear, while 19% experienced discomfort
I am excited to visit various cities around the world, fly over mountains, attend a concert in Paris listening to Mozart, and enjoy many cosmic and meditative journeys. This shows that I have found it comfortable to use.
The headset is comfortable for short periods of time, but after 15 minutes of use, it starts to irritate the bridge of my nose and hurts along my temples when I wear glasses.
The VR headset is not comfortable for my 7-year-old son, even with adjustments, because it is too big and heavy for his little face.
71% liked the seamless controller integration, but 29% faced issues
I am not able to advance to the next VR movie with the controller and I end up back at my home screen.
The product claims to be compatible with iPhones, but in reality, it is not. The headset works, but the remote does not sync.
83% praised the field of view, while 17% didn't
I have visited various cities around the world, flown over mountains, attended a concert in Paris, and enjoyed many cosmic and meditative journeys using the VR headset.
I can never get a perfect focus no matter how much adjustment I try.
68% liked the high-resolution, but 32% experienced pixelation
When I focus my cell phone close to my eyes, I can see pixels which is a problem of image resolution.
I find it impossible to see evenly out of the screens for each eye due to poorly made focus adjusters.
I have tried adjusting the lenses, but I can never get a perfect focus.
79% appreciated the low latency response, though 21% experienced lag
I am satisfied with the product and curious to compare it with high-end products.
Sometimes, I need to remove the battery to reset it if I haven't used it in a few days. But it's not a big deal since it's just a slider cover.
I downloaded a haunted house app and was thrilled with how easily I could go through it. VR is going to help me keep my sanity during these challenging times.
The faceplate is made of thin and cheap plastic which cannot support the weight of most phones. Any movement can cause it to pop off with the sliding apparatus and my phone flying across the floor.
I have complained that the focus adjusters of the VR headset are poorly made and it is impossible to see evenly out of those screens for each eye.
Rephrased: The VR headset's focus adjusters are poorly made, making it impossible to see evenly out of both screens for each eye.
81% liked the lightweight design, but 19% desired more
The VR headset is nicely packaged and not overtly heavy.
I am prone to motion sickness, which could be related to the weight of the product.
The faceplate is made of cheap plastic and cannot support the weight of most phones.
The headset is comfortable for short periods of time, but after 15 minutes of use, it starts to irritate the bridge of my nose where most of the weight likes to sit. This might be because I have a large and heavy phone. It also hurts along my temples when I wear glasses.
The lenses are adjustable, allowing me to move them like a set of binoculars to adjust for personal clarity with respect to the screen.
