Overall Feedback:
67% positive
78% praised the adjustable design, while 22% found limited
I adjusted the Velcro fasteners and pushed the foam towards the lenses, which greatly reduced color fringing and enhanced my experience. Play with this adjustment to get it right. I'm enjoying the adjusted design.
There is no knob for adjustable focus. Personally, I did not require one, but I am not sure if I just got lucky or not.
I noticed that the headset does not come with a carry case and the lenses are not adjustable.
I was not able to adjust the device to fit my head comfortably, which was not enjoyable.
I faced difficulty in pairing the controller with my phone.
Two of my phones (Samsung S6 & Oneplus 8T) are incompatible with the product.
68% praised the field of view, while 32% didn't
By adjusting the Velcro fasteners, I reduced color fringing and increased the field of view, enhancing my overall experience.
After having issues aligning my phone with Google Cardboard, I was pleased to see that Daydream aligns itself to the viewer.

I had issues aligning my phone with Google Cardboard, but I was pleased to see that Daydream seems to align itself to the viewer.
My biggest complaint is the limited field of view or peripheral vision of the product.
The apparent field of view is narrow and the face guard doesn't allow my eyes to get close to the lenses.
For beginners, the headset is great, but the field of view is less than expected.
When I use my smartphone as a close-up screen, the video quality is fuzzy.
My biggest issue with the product is the limited field of view it allows.
For beginners, the headset is great but has a smaller field of view than expected.
82% liked the high-resolution, but 18% experienced pixelation
I could sense a 3D effect even though I normally don't pick up on 3D effects due to my astigmatism. This shows that the image resolution is good enough to provide me a good experience.
I find the image quality good enough for me, but I haven't compared it with others.
The image resolution is pixelated due to the lower resolution of my screen compared to the Pixel XL.
The resolution on my regular pixel device is not good and it is VERY pixelated compared to the pixel XL, which can make me feel nauseous.
67% appreciated the low latency response, though 33% experienced lag
The headset is very responsive and I like the feature of resetting the centering at any time, making it easy to be oriented anywhere and still have full access to the VR world.
The picture is clear with minimal lag, which I attribute to bugs or newness.
The headset is very responsive and can reset the centering at any time, making it easy to be oriented anywhere and still have full access to the VR world.
My phone overheats quickly in the VR headset and my eyeballs feel like they should be sweating after just 20 minutes.
I adjusted the Velcro fasteners and pushed the foam towards the lenses, which greatly reduced color fringing and enhanced my experience. Play with this adjustment to get it right. I'm enjoying the adjusted design.
The Oculus Gos's non-adjustable 64 mm IPD is a big thing to overlook when trying to make VR mainstream.
