About AMVR VR Facial Interface & Foam Cover Pad Replacement Comfort Set for Oculus Rift
Overall Feedback:
93% positive
94% praised the adjustable design, while 6% found limited
I find the adjustable design less comfortable than the original foam.
76% were satisfied with the battery life, while 24% weren't
I haven't mentioned anything about the battery life of the product.
The new foam replacement is a bit stiff, but it's a minor issue considering how many other problems it solved for me.
93% found it comfortable to wear, while 7% experienced discomfort
The new foam replacement is a bit stiff and not as comfortable as the original foam. However, it keeps my eyes a tiny bit back and helps with the overlapping lenses issues and godrays.
I was able to wear the replacement face pad comfortably for long periods of time and play Beat Saber for 3 straight hours without any discomfort.
I have complained about discomfort caused by pressure on my brow while using the Oculus. The padding should be fuller to distribute the weight and the faceplate should not rest on my cheeks much at all.
89% liked the seamless controller integration
The VR Facial Interface eliminates light from the nose area, which is a positive aspect of the product.
93% liked the high-resolution, but 7% experienced pixelation
I purchased a new foam cover to eliminate vertical lines from my periphery vision and help with overlapping lenses.
The face pad puts pressure on the bridge of my nose on both sides, possibly due to the VR headset's image resolution.
87% appreciated the low latency response
I purchased a new foam cover to address the issue of vertical lines in my periphery vision caused by overlapping lenses.
86% liked the lightweight design, but 14% desired more
I found it comfortable to wear for long periods of time, indicating its lightweight and easy-to-wear design.
I would prefer the material to be wider so that the weight of the Oculus is more spread out. The weight of the device is concentrated on a smaller area, causing discomfort.
I like the new headset design because it is comfortable to wear. I did not like the original design due to light leaks from the nose/mouth area which ruined the VR effect.
The headset narrows tunnel vision slightly in VR, but it doesn't affect gameplay.
