I appreciate the fan's simple, modern, and attractive design, including the light fixture and clear glass. The dark walnut or gray oak blades have a great finish, and the metal parts should fit well with other brushed nickel hardware. The unit was well-packaged to protect the appearance of the parts.
I observed that the bulb holders have threaded outsides, making it easy to screw on metal surrounds to hold the glass in place. This design is vastly superior to using small screws and looks great.
