The fan has great energy efficiency, but you can only feel the air being pushed around if you are right under it or within a foot or two outside of the down draft of the blades.
I faced a problem while installing the fan. It would jerk a couple of times on speeds 1-3 as if trying to decide the direction, but speeds 4-6 would rotate it after the indecisive event.
