I had a hard time deciding which side of the eight blades to display on the ceiling fan, but I ultimately went with the driftwood.

The fan barely rotates and stops silently after making a screeching sound on the light collar. It is also very quiet, as I noticed.

I am disappointed with the maximum speed of the ceiling fan. It only slightly moves the air in my great room and the blades don't move that fast either.
My experience with the fan is that its highest speed is not effective and it doesn't move air unless you stand directly below it.
I have a fan with three speed settings. The first speed is quiet, the second is a bit noisy, and the third is very annoying.
