I noticed that the fan motor had a strong and unpleasant smell of grease that did not go away even after leaving the windows open and the fan on all day. I believe the smell is unhealthy and overwhelming. This review expresses my negative feedback regarding the motor performance of ceiling-fans.

I am satisfied with the design of the ceiling fan. It is a great size for an 8-ft. ceiling, quite attractive, runs smoothly and silently with only a slight wobble at the highest speed. I also appreciate the two-color blades.
