The fan design makes the room more inviting and most importantly, it does not hit my head on a standard residential ceiling.
The fan fits perfectly with the farmhouse industrial look we have going in the kitchen and dining room. The cage not only looks good but also keeps it from looking like a chubby fan.
I personally found the metal security cable to be too long and in the way, and the dangling crossover power supply was very difficult to manage.
