I installed the fan and tested it for an evening. I found no difference between the fan I installed and the one which was 20 inches smaller in diameter.

On half speed, I noticed the fan moves a ton of air and on full speed, level 6, things get blown away.
I will use the fan at below 3 speeds as it is breezy enough, although I wanted to set it at 6 speeds to feel more wind.
