About Cobra HHRT50 Road Trip Cb Radio
68% liked the battery life, yet 32% faced issues
Even though I only used it for a few days, the battery life is good.
I haven't used the product long enough to comment on the battery life.
I cannot comment on the battery life as I use it for a very short time and it is run off the provided DC power plug.
I am satisfied with the battery life, but I would prefer more power even if it means worse battery life.

71% found it durable, however 29% raised issues
The construction of the unit feels solid.
When I used the CB at a 4X4 event, it performed perfectly, proving its durability.
Each time I start the car, the fuse blows if I left the unit plugged into the cigarette lighter power receptacle.
The range of our CB two-way radio is limited to about 100 meters and beyond that distance, it is not reliable.
76% found it easy to use
It is easy to install and comes with everything we need.
The buttons are easy to feel and push, and there is a backlight button to see the screen at night.
It's great because I can use it in the vehicle or as a portable and quickly swap it to another vehicle or even use it anywhere.
70% were impressed with the range, but 30% weren't
The CB two-way radio has a limited range of just about 100 meters and is not reliable beyond that distance.
My CB in the truck transmits over 5 miles clearly, but when I tried to get comms with it from my truck CB, my wife couldn't hear me till I was 100 meters away and vice versa. Hand held CBs with rubber ducky antennas have limited range which I expected but this is pathetic.
The range is not good and my friend on a cb cannot hear me anymore.
70% were satisfied with the voice clarity, whereas 30% weren't
I use a Motorola radio at work and it is crisp and clear, but top of the line.
The radio has clear voice clarity.
The CB radio has an ST capability that is supposed to clarify audio, but I cannot tell if it makes much difference.
When using CB-two-way-radios inside a vehicle, the voice clarity is very poor with lots of static and a weak signal.
