The litter forms a loose clump that is heavy enough to go through to the waste reservoir, but it is not like clay.
I had an issue with clumps sticking to the bottom of my Littermaid, making it difficult to clean and requiring constant scooping/scraping. I tried this litter even though it was not recommended by the manufacturer of the Littermaid, and found that it solved the problem.
I prefer the clumping version of the product in the purple bag because it isn't as dusty and holds urine odors better.
The cat litter is dusty and after using the litter box, I have a hard time breathing for several minutes, sometimes 20 minutes.

There is hardly any dusty mess or tracking, which is the best part.
I have tried many other cat litters and found it annoying to step on pieces of litter everywhere. However, with this cat litter, there is minimal tracking and the crystals are tiny when they are tracked out of the litter box.
After using the product, I have noticed a significant reduction in tracking.

I am confused about the dust level of the litter as it raises larger clouds than any clay litter I have ever used, despite claims of it being low dust.
I have complained that this litter produces a massive amount of almost invisible dust that hurts my eyes and makes me sick. The dust continues to emerge from the litter even when not in use, making the whole room smokey after a while.
