The cat litter has good absorbency and has eliminated the smell from my closet and room.
I was initially skeptical when comparing the pad to a diaper in terms of absorbency, but was pleasantly surprised.
I gave 3 stars for absorbency because it doesn't absorb urine or feces, but unfortunately it doesn't absorb odor.
I have to switch to the multi cat pad because the absorbency of the single cat pads is so bad. Even though I have only 1 cat, I have to change the pad more than once weekly as advertised.

After losing a kitty, I discovered this litter box system which is much easier to keep clean. The urine drains through to a pad and the rest is dehydrated and easy to scoop out. I recommend the system and have bought several systems and gifted systems to friends. It works fine for a two cat household.
Replacing the pad under the pellets in the slide out tray once a week and the pellets once a month makes it very easy to use.
