After sprinkling the deodorizer on top of the just-scooped litter and mixing it with the scoop, I did not detect the smell quickly.
I did not feel comfortable dumping bleach in the litter box because of its strong smell.

To minimize litter box smell, I recommend using a high quality clumping-non-scented-low dust cat litter.
