About Boxiecat Gently Scented Premium Clumping Clay Cat Litter
Overall Feedback:
86% positive
83% praised for its excellent absorbency, while 17% thought it could improve
This litter has the best absorbency by far, making it easy to scoop out with no dust. It turns urine into a clump, hides the smell, and absorbs poop odor. It's a great option for pet owners who want a clean, odor-free home.
Initially, the litter I used was very absorbent with low dust, clumped quickly, and controlled odor well.
This cat litter is the best in terms of clumping, absorbency, and odor fighting.
Most litters cannot absorb urine well and are always messy when scooped.
83% liked how well it forms tight clumps
I have very large cat pans and use modified storage bins for them. Each pan holds 60 lbs of litter and I have three cats, so I scoop daily. Good clumping abilities in the litter are important to me as I don't dump the litter regularly and don't want broken off pieces of pee pods remaining after scooping.
The product produces firm urine clumps and almost no dust.
I have been using Boxiecat for over a year and found that it has minimal dust, clumps well, and is unscented.
The clumping ability of the cat-litter is good, though not as good as claimed, but still better than others.
82% appreciated the low dust level, though 18% found it still kicked up too much dust
After using Boxiecat for a week, there was no layer of dust in my room.
There is no dust in the cat litter.
After a few months of use, I noticed that the dust level is high and very fine. It concerns me that the cats and I may have inhaled a significant amount of dust as it is visible in the air and gets into the heating ducts.
I gave a 1-star rating because of the high amount of dust in the product, despite it being advertised as 99.9% dust-free. I don't know the other pros and cons of the product since my cat jumbled in and back out.
82% liked the ease of use
It is much easier to clean the cat litter.
This litter has the best absorbency and makes it easy to scoop out. There's no 'litter dust' either. It just turns the urine/liquid into a clump and hides the smell as well. The poop smell is absorbed also.
Using cat litter and potty pads has made cleaning the litter box and room much easier. I no longer dread cleaning it.
Clumps appear near the surface for relatively easy cleanup.
I noticed that clumps appear near the surface which makes it easy to clean. This is an advantage over other clumping litters where the clumps get stuck to the inside bottom of the litter box and require extra cleanup efforts.

The cat litter is easy to use and scoopable, with no need to scrape mud off the bottom of the cat box.
84% praised for its excellent odor control, while 16% thought it didn't quite live up to expectations
Boxie Cat's odor control is far better than any other litter I have tried.
The unscented cat-litter does a good job at controlling odor.
The cat litter has excellent odor control without any strong perfumes that can make me choose carpet over the box.
The cat-litter has excellent odor control and clumping qualities without any strong perfumes that can make me choose carpet over box.
Odor control was not a deciding factor for me while selecting the cat-litter.
The odor control of this litter is similar to Scoop Away litter.
I am dissatisfied with the odor control of the litter. Even after cleaning the box and adding a new bag of litter, the smell is terrible and I have never experienced such poor odor control with any other clumping litter.
The best odor control litters are made from clay, but they are notably dusty.
84% liked that it minimizes tracking, but 16% found it still a problem
The litter doesn't cling to my cat's hair and there are no issues with his business sticking to his hair.
I have no issues with my cat's hair sticking to the litter as it does not cling to it.
The tracking of cat-litter is horrible and it gets everywhere, even sticking to my cat's feet at times. I have to vacuum multiple times a day because of it.
I wanted the litter for tracking purposes and it was advertised as low tracking. However, it did not work as expected in my case.

I have tried few litters but always come back to this one because it absorbs properly and keeps the smell for a long time.
