Overall Feedback:
94% positive
90% appreciated the easy of use, while 10% found it tricky to use
I found it easy to use the remedy by melting it with butter or fat drippings and heating it up with other meds.
I found the product easy to apply to my cat's paw and she enjoyed the taste. Everything turned out well in the end.
The paw gel format is genius and easy to apply. A little dab on their shoulders or arms, and I am happily licking it off, turning medicine time into treat time.
The solution is messy and difficult to use.
91% praised for its fast and effective results, whereas 9% saw no improvement
It's too early to comment on the product's effectiveness, but the fact that the cats ingested it makes it more effective than previous brands they used to wipe off.
The recommended dose of the product prevents my cat's suffering with hairballs, but it doesn't completely prevent hairballs.
I found the product ineffective and it caused choking/coughing in one of my cats. I switched back to a different brand and the problem resolved quickly.
68% praised the natural and non-toxic ingredients, though 32% raised concerns about a specific ingredient
The product contains natural ingredients like oils, psyllium, salmon oil, catnip and more, unlike other brands that are just flavored Vaseline.
If I google the 2 ingredients, some say it is toxic to cats.
The first ingredient of the product is ascorbic acid which is unusual and it also contains sodium benzoate.
I felt terrible after reading the ingredients of the product. I had never heard of some of the ingredients before and found out that one of them is toxic to cats even in trace amounts.
79% didn't notice any adverse side effects, while 21% reported mild issues
I have investigated the toxicity of benzene, which can be formed when the ingredients of sodium benzoate and ascorbic acid (vitamin C) are both included within a product. Both of these ingredients are in this brand of hairball gel. I am not comfortable with continued use of this product because of the benzene concerns.
I experienced severe vomiting and upset due to the preservative sodium benzoate in the paw gel.
My cat had diarrhea from time to time after eating it, but it stopped after I stopped feeding it to him.
It is easy to use and much better priced than what I bought locally.
