I noticed that the pump started making a weird noise like something may have been stuck inside. After checking it, nothing was found.

After cleaning the unit and replacing the filters, I noticed that the water fountain stopped working and there was no water flow.
I have complained that the fountain splashes water around it, causing the floor to get wet. I didn't realize that taking out the yellow center would change the flow of water. I am trying that now and will update the review in the future when I find out if it still splashes water so far out from the fountain.
My cat only drinks flowing water and waits for the fountain to work again, which shows how important the water flow is to me.
