I noticed that the flea drops have a strong smell, but the cats did not try to lick it off because of that.

The drops are thick enough that they don't run down my skin, making them much safer.
My 14 pounder long haired cat did well with the flea drops and my 8 pounder cat also did well with half of it. I monitored them and there were no side effects.
The product works like a charm every time and is just as, if not more, effective than comparable products. Plus, it's half the price.
