I started with Advantage and put the collars on after a week or two when I noticed fleas congregating. Now, the fleas are only on my pet's belly, which is easy to spray with another flea spray and kills them all.
Using both the liquid vets best product in combination with the collar helped me keep my cat tick-free.

I got these collars to repel new fleas despite trying various methods like daily vacuuming, diatomaceous earth, flea combing, flea furniture spray, washing, shampooing the carpet, and adding lavender oil to lotion. However, I did not mention whether the collars were effective or not.
Over time, the collar's effectiveness has decreased, but it still has some impact on fleas.
I have noticed that flea topicals are becoming ineffective in Florida. The current one I use works for three weeks out of four. I hope this collar can extend protection for that fourth week until I can use the topical again.
