The toys have held up amazingly well despite all the love and terror my cats show to them. The only exception was one lone carrot-looking worm that broke at the string when hung under the table for independent play.
The mechanism to change toys out is difficult and requires a lot of pressure on a small piece of metal. However, I find the variety and durability of the toys outweigh this issue.
I have given the toy a 4-star rating for its sturdiness and durability, but I am unsure about its long-term performance.
I have noticed that the cat broke two of these wands by dragging them away and getting them stuck on things, indicating poor durability of the toy.

I tried buying replacement toys in other ways to see if it was cheaper, but it was actually better to just buy another one of these, that way I have replacement toys *and* poles for a much better price than getting the toys alone.
