I have mixed feelings about the build quality of the toy. It doesn't feel exceptionally sturdy, but it seems to be robust enough to withstand the playful antics of the cat. Despite its somewhat flimsy feel, it has not broken yet, which suggests that it is durable enough for its purpose.
I have noticed that the toy is not very durable as it has already dismembered the two butterflies that originally came with it. Luckily, I am glad that I bought the replacement pack of butterflies.
The durability of the toy is not great. After the first 30 minute play session, the wire of the butterfly was slightly bent down, so the flight of the butterfly was no longer as nice as it was brand new. Also, one of the wings got bent as well, so the flapping wasnt as smooth.
I am disappointed with the durability of the toy and wish it had lasted longer.
