This product is very effective. I used it on my 7.5 year old rescue Akita and tried other dental gels before with zero success. I started using this product about every other day, simply squeezing about 1/2 inch strip onto my finger and rubbing it on both sides of her mouth. I gave her bully sticks about twice a week for friction to help her self scrub her teeth. About 3 or so weeks later, I looked in her mouth and the thick tartar scales were almost gone!! The pictures really show it all! I didnt get a true before picture with the complete tartar encasement, but the first picture is after 3 weeks (still a little chunk of tartar) and the second picture is her perfectly clean tooth!! 10/10 recommended this product. Its easy to use, seems to taste good to the doggo (she doesnt run from me when I bring it out), has never given her tummy problems, and it WORKS! I now apply to her teeth about 3 times a week and give her something to chomp on for maintenance. Thanks Pet Smile for the great product!!
Within a week of brushing nightly, I noticed a significant improvement in the effectiveness of the product. The dog also liked the flavor.
I just need to take a tiny pea sized amount of enzymes and apply it to my teeth for them to work in my mouth.
