The discharge tank has a fully removable lid that allows me to easily empty the tank and clean inside. It even can be run through a machine if needed. The discharge lid also has a special location to allow me to clean out attachments, which is a great addition that I did not know I was missing from others.
This cleaner has saved my furniture, including sofa, kids mattresses, and rug, from being thrown away.
