About CRC 06026 Heavy Duty Corrosion Inhibitor 10 Wt Oz
78% liked its compatibility with various metals
I suggest using it on boat trailer suspensions, axles, hubs, nuts & bolts, etc.
I use CRC 6-56 first to penetrate and then 06026 over it to coat and seal.
I use HD Corrosion Inhibitor to put a dry layer of protection on the underbody.
65% liked its quick drying time, but 35% found it took too long
After drying, we coated everything with 2 coats of corrosion inhibitor.
I've found that the product needs a couple of days to dry fully, otherwise it will be very tacky.
The product dries to a waxy film and is difficult to remove.
70% found it easy to apply, while 30% had difficulty with the process
I have used the product before and applied it to various parts of the vehicle, including drain holes in the doors, tailgate/trunk lid, crevices in bonnet/engine compartment cover, fender overlaps, near the battery tray (avoiding spraying into the alternator), and miscellaneous crevices, bolt heads, metal folds/crimps, etc. where condensation and airborne salty spray may lodge.
I use the product on U-bolts on my trailer and on electrical fittings inside the lights.
It is easy to apply and can be applied to the boat trailer undercarriage at the end of the day before loading the boat, without leaving any visible residue in the water.
I found it challenging to apply the product evenly despite it being a spray-on process.

79% praised the excellent protective coating and ability to prevent rust
I have found the product to be effective in preventing rust and corrosion, even in a salt water environment.
The corrosion inhibitor dries with a slight green/yellow tint and doesn't attract dirt or dust.
78% appreciated its long-lasting protection
Renewing the film every 6 months keeps corrosion at bay in areas not exposed to wear.
The product has been effective for almost 20 years and is still going strong.
70% liked its deep surface penetration, but 30% found it struggled with rough surfaces
The spray is watery and seeps between pinch welds and seams well, but also sticks to where I spray it.
The surface results were a nightmare, with the product being sticky and grabby, almost as though it never dries.
68% praised the excellent surface finish, while 32% noticed a sticky residue
After 23 years, there is no rust through on any of my panels and my undercarriage looks great.
I find that the product goes on thick and comes off easily when the time comes.
When the solvent part evaporates, it leaves a waxy, brown film.
I found the surface result to be a nightmare with the product being sticky, grabby, and almost never drying.
