I have been using CorrosionX for years and found it excellent for preventing rust and lubricating various outdoor items such as lawn equipment, axles on carts, bolts on outdoor carts and utility trailer, and lawnmower wheels.
I suggest using this lubricant to clean and protect electronics and batteries that get corroded in a boating environment.
