Installation was very easy and the harness adapts the chimes and steering wheel controls and all the other GM electrical stuff that we need.
The installation was simple, but we had to modify the opening.
I installed the car stereo receiver with minimal modification to my vehicle. I used factory screws and only had to drill 4 holes into a non-exposed part of the factory bezel.
Installing this unit is not for amateurs and requires a separate install kit and most likely a professional installer.

The touchscreen works great and is wonderful.
The screen size is amazing with good clarity. Big name brands only offer up to 7 inches with low resolution screens unless you go with the top of the line, which can cost close to or even more than $1000.
The screen has a beautiful high-quality resolution with great colors. It also has good brightness in direct sunlight and low light.

My car stereo receiver's heat sink got extremely hot and even burned my fingers when I played music. This indicates that the power output of the receiver may not be sufficient for my needs.
I tested the audio output of the radio by turning on a 1khz sinewave and measuring ac voltage with my multimeter. The readings from the aux outputs, sub output and speaker outputs were also noted.

I suggest adding amps for highs and mids to improve the sound quality.

I tested the audio output of the car stereo receiver and found that the voltage readings were less than .3 volts for aux outputs, .1 volt for sub output, and less than .5 volts average for speaker outputs, indicating poor audio quality.
