About Camecho Single Din Bluetooth Car Radio 4 Capacitive Touch Screen Car Stereo
Overall Feedback:
69% positive
72% liked the installation flexibility, however 28% encountered challenges
I purchased the unit to install in my 1974 Ford F100 because I have really dark windows that I can't see to back up at night. Despite no specifications related to installation flexibility, it seems exclusive.
I found it easy to install the car stereo receiver, even on a notoriously difficult car model like 02 beetle.
With the right tools/accessories, installing it in my 2002 Ford Ranger was easy.
I had to buy an extender because the antenna hole was on the wrong side, which shows poor installation flexibility of the car-stereo-receiver.
71% appreciated the user interface, yet 29% didn't
The touch screen is very legible and responsive.
I was surprised to find that the picture was crisp and the touch screen was responsive.
I can set the time, display color, time format, change the screen logo, enable or disable reverse mute.
The user interface of the unit is versatile with options like plug-in micro SD card, USB card, radio, auxiliary input from an I-phone, and displaying metadata from music files.
I find the touch screen difficult to use and press the correct icons.
The touch screen has a 3 second lag between actions and is not very bright.
73% appreciated the ample power output, though 27% desired more
I was able to power 4 fifty watt BOSS speakers with nearly zero distortion at full volume using the car stereo receiver, which performed better than expected.
The car stereo receiver's tuner and power are weak.
I find the tuner and power to be weak.
The car stereo receiver is supposed to be 20 watts x4, but I can't even hear it at highway speeds. In normal city driving, I have to turn the volume up almost 80% and it becomes distorted and crackly. Based on my experience, I can say that the user has faced this problem personally.

I recommend looking up the car wires and ordering a wiring harness from Amazon to install the radio. It worked perfectly for me.
