The tent design has reinforcing to the sidewalls from the center point, providing more structure and dependability. However, raising the roof higher may cause height clearance issues in some locations.
The canopy I used is almost 6 ft in height and very heavy compared to others I have used in the past.

During a very windy and stormy day, the tent held up completely.
