77% found it compatible, while 23% struggled with it
I had trouble using the can opener to open a specific type of can - an Aldis brand sardine can with the ring pull top.
77% praised for its sharp cutting wheel
I have praised the cutting performance of the can opener, specifically the top-down design of the cutting blade and the rotary cutting-motion that goes through the tin rim with tremendous ease and effortless.
The can opener performs as advertised and cuts the top of the can off on the outside.
The can opener cuts just below the rim of the lid instead of the top, which is a nice feature.
For the first year, my can opener cleanly removed the lid in one go-round and was fantastic.
The top-down design of this tin-can lid-opener cutting-blade is excellent and the rotary cutting-motion goes through the tin rim with ease.
76% found it easy to operate
The can opener is really easy to use and there is no contact with the ingredients.
The can opener is easy to use and does the job with little effort.
78% appreciated its multiple functions, although 22% found them unnecessary
The can opener is not suitable for draining cans like tuna fish, olives, and canned mushrooms after opening them.
68% liked the quiet operation, but 32% found it loud
The can opener is easy to use, although not completely intuitive.
I doubt the product's performance and advise not to believe the hype.
79% appreciated the safety features, although 21% found them inadequate
I use the little pincers to pry off the lids, it's a super neat feature once you get the hang of it.
The can opener leaves smooth edges and is not a safety concern.
I had trouble using this can opener with the ring pull of an Aldis brand sardine can. It took multiple tries and when I finally got the top off, there was a sharp burr. This indicates that the safety features of the can opener were inadequate for this specific type of can.
I am disappointed with the build quality of the can opener. It has scratches, a weird rust-like stain, and strange plastic coming out of the handle from the manufacturing process.
My previous can openers would rust or the handle grip would slide off, but this one is of good quality and has no such problems.
