The width of the tines around the tab impedes opening and I have to press on the tab with my thumb while pulling up on the back of the Barricade. Additionally, on two occasions my thumb went into the opening somewhat, which could be problematic for people with wider fingers. The device also gives me the impression that it could snap at any second.
