I have used the tent in heavy rain without any leaks or splashes, and it provides good protection from weather.

I have noticed that the tent has good ventilation through the side flaps and top, which should allow comfortable sleeping in hotter night temperatures.
The ventilation is nice, but it can still get stuffy at times. It also comes with a rain fly.
