  • What users have to say about Food by Fire: Grilling and BBQ with Derek Wolf of Over the Fire Cooking

The main thing about this version of the Whole Lamb Al Asador is that it makes it seem like it's really easy to cook a whole lamb over fire, even if you aren't planning on making it.

They are beautiful, not just the food, but the fires as well; I can see someone getting a "spiral-bound" version of the book, breaking it up and framing a bunch of the pictures, that will definitely make this book frame worthy.

This book is an expert technical cookbook about cooking with flames, the tall orange ones you can only get with carefully stacked wooden logs, and an inspiration from Francis Mallmann, who the author cites as an inspiration.

I have been anticipating the release of the book since I first heard about it through his promo on his social media accounts.

I have been enjoying looking at the photographs in the book and trying to come up with some ideas, but this isn't the kind of book that you just buy for the recipes and dig out when you already have a clear idea of what to do.
