The filter system worked flawlessly when we used it with fresh water from the glacier-fed lake with seven people.
I returned the product because of a major flaw in its design for use as a titular gravity filter. The straw clean-side opening was not conveniently aligned to the storage container.
After just one fill, the filter started to clog and came to a slight drip after the 3rd bag. Backwashing didn't solve the issue.
I had difficulty using the tube clip due to my age and lack of nimbleness.
