About Gravity Water Filter - Portable Water Filtration System and Backpacking Water Filter
Overall Feedback:
75% positive
68% praised for its long-lasting durability, while 32% experienced a shorter lifespan
I tested the puribag on very muddy water from a local park and it was amazing. It removed all the dirt/junk from the water and collected it at the bottom of the bag.
The filter at the pour spout clogged after only one gallon of water passed through, causing a slower and slower flow until significant pressure had to be applied to the bag to get even a trickle of water.
The filter and tap of our purification system are so slow that I have to open the bottom bag to get water out. It seems like the water is purified but not filtered.
66% appreciated its easy cleaning, while 34% found it high maintenance
I found that the spout can be disassembled and the carbon filter removed for cleaning. After cleaning the filter with tap water, the flow rate was still slow but usable without applying pressure to the bag.
65% found it easy to using, while 35% had difficulties
The water flow is fast and the hanger feature makes it easy to set up on a tree branch for quick dispensing.
I had to open the bag at the bottom to get water out because the filter and tap were so slow.
I faced a problem with the filter at the pour spout. It clogged after only one gallon of water passed through, causing slower and slower flow until significant pressure had to be applied to the bag to get even a trickle of water.
71% liked its lightweight and compact design, but 29% found it bulky

This bag and purification system is amazing for backpacking. You can have water in the evening and morning at camp and then take water with you when you hike out.

The filter has a long lifespan of 6 months or around 250 gallons.
