About Epic EveryTap Bottle Filter Complete Filter
64% praised for its long-lasting durability, while 36% experienced a shorter lifespan
I have been using the filter system for a few years.
I am concerned that the company may not be around long enough, rendering the bottle useless and contributing to landfill waste.
I believe that the older charcoal based filters were better.
65% appreciated its easy cleaning, while 35% found it high maintenance
I like the locking dust-cover flip top that keeps the attached straw hygienically clean and is easy to operate.
I cleaned and primed the filter by sucking about half a bottle of water through it.
I found the filter more difficult to clean than the previous version. However, I have filtered city water using the Epic Filter and provided a picture of the filtered water.
Drinking through the filter is easy due to its large surface area.

66% found it easy to using, while 34% had difficulties
I like the product because it is easy to operate and has a locking dust-cover flip top that keeps the attached straw inside, hygienically clean.
I find the white filter very restrictive and difficult to use, but the black Urban filter is much easier to use. As a result, I am drinking more water now.
The filter still filters out impurities from the water, but it's more difficult to use than the previous version.
The new white filter is the most difficult to pull water through. It's shocking that they would release it to the public and assume you got a bad one.

66% appreciated its effectiveness, but 34% questioned its effectiveness
I doubt the manufacturer's claims about filtration effectiveness.
I am disappointed with the new filter as it is cheaper to produce but lacks the effectiveness of the old filter. The old filter had a large amount of carbon and large surface area, which made it great. However, the new filter does not have those features, and I have stopped using it.
The new filter is difficult to draw water up through and strain in the mouth, resulting in a negative experience for me.
66% liked its lightweight and compact design, but 34% found it bulky
Drinking through the filter is difficult.
62% praised for its fast water flow rate, while 38% found it slow
I am struggling to get any water out of the new filter and the flow rate is worse than the old filters we had been using for a year.
It requires a lot of effort to draw up water from this filter due to poor flow rate.
68% liked its ability to filter large quantities of water, while 32% found it limited
The filter is only rated for 100 gallons or 4 months, so if I am hiking longer than 4 months I need to get more filter - more weight - more space.
The filter works great until the last 14oz of the bottle, when it becomes difficult or impossible to get water through.
