About Onewind 11Ft Camping Hammock with Mosquito Net
Overall Feedback:
91% positive
87% appreciated its weather resistance
Using additional tarp, quilt and windsock, I found the hammock comfortable to use in 20 degrees temperature.
87% found it versatile for various uses
The built-in bug net effectively keeps mosquitoes and flies away during warm months and can be stored in the stuff sack when not needed.
85% appreciated its portability
The ridgeline organizer holds all my small stuff like battery pack and headlamp, which is convenient to keep in arms reach.
I keep the lightweight and packable hammock in the trunk and take it with me wherever I go.
88% praised the material quality, but 12% thought it felt flimsy
The fabric of the hammock is too thin to hold up to extended outdoor use or under 150 lbs let alone 200.
84% liked its easy setup
I set up the hammock in just 3 minutes straight out of the box on my most recent dispersed camping trip.
I like the guy line attachments on the sides to keep the bug net away from my face.
I find the buckle system on the hammock makes hanging it easy and secure.
88% found it comfortable
This hammock is more comfortable than sharing with my child and is good for body warmth. I can also slip out without waking my child.
This hammock is extremely comfortable, even more so than my bed. I've been wanting to get into hammock camping, but smaller ones always felt tight and uncomfortable. Being in my sixties with a bad back, I usually wake up stiff and sore, but not with this one.
78% were satisfied with the breathability, but 22% weren't
I find that the sides of the hammock cover my face, but since it is breathable, it feels better. I put it over my nose and mouth to make sure I can breathe through it.
I found that the fabric cannot withstand extended outdoor use or support more than 150 lbs, let alone 200.
The hammock works great for camping in forests, by the river or lake side, even during summer mosquito season, as it comes with a bug net that protects me.
The hammock is pretty heavy, weighing 2.5 pounds, which is the only drawback. I forgot to check the weight before buying it. It is not suitable for backpacking due to its weight.
I was initially nervous about using the hammock because I was not sure if it could hold my 250lb frame, but it did not disappoint.
