About ENO TravelNest Hammock & Straps Combo
Overall Feedback:
91% positive
95% found it versatile for various uses
I had to replace my name brand hammock due to a tear. This hammock holds up better than the previous one and is easy to set up and feels secure.
The hammock and straps are compact and can be easily carried in a day pack for a nice rest while hiking.
I used the hammock at work by putting the straps on 2 I-Beams and slept soundly.
90% praised the material quality, but 10% thought it felt flimsy
I was worried about the thin material of the hammock holding my weight, but I had no problems.
I feel that the hammock is too thin for its 400lbs rating as I could feel the wind through the fabric, but it held me perfectly.
88% appreciated its weather resistance, yet 12% found it lacking
Initially anxious about the thin material holding my weight, but had no problems while using it. Can use it outdoors with a canopy and be just as comfortable.
I felt the wind passing through the fabric, but the hammock held me perfectly despite feeling thin. I weigh 185lbs.
97% appreciated its portability
The bag is sewn to the hammock, making it easy to carry and doubling as a storage pouch for personal items.
I was able to set it up quickly and use it with myself, toddler, and infant, which shows that the product is portable and easy to use.
97% found it comfortable, although 3% experienced issues
The hammock and straps fit nicely in the included bag and are small enough to carry in my day pack for a nice rest while out hiking.
The hammock is rated for 400lbs but it feels too thin for that. However, it held me perfectly who weighs 185lbs.
The bug net kept me safe and almost bite-free during the night, despite the bugs coming out with a vengeance. This shows that the hammock has good weather resistance, specifically in terms of protecting me from insects.
